GF Avoided My House, Then I Discovered the SHOCKING Reason!

My girlfriend works grueling 12-hour overnight shifts, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. After work, she usually comes to my place around 8:15 a.m., takes a quick shower by 8:30, and then crashes for the day. This setup worked perfectly for months, and we both enjoyed the routine. It was a comfortable and predictable arrangement that fit our busy lives. Then, one day, she didn’t come. She texted me, “Heading straight home, will text later.” I figured maybe she was extra tired and wanted some alone time, so I let it go and DoorDashed her some food. I thought it was a one-off thing and didn’t pay much mind to it. Maybe she was just exhausted and needed the comfort of her own space. But then it happened again… and again. We basically started seeing each other only on the weekends, which is only 1/2 different days a week. Some weeks, we couldn’t see each other at all, as our weekends didn’t match. I was starting to feel neglected and confused. The distance between us was growing, and I couldn’t understand why.

Every time I asked why she wasn’t coming to my place anymore, she’d dodge or ignore the question. It was like she was deliberately avoiding me. Then, she even refused to meet my mom to give her the papers I forgot at her place (I needed them urgently at work), even though she knew I’d get into trouble because of it. That was super weird, as they never had an issue before. The situation was becoming increasingly bizarre and frustrating.

After that, I finally sat her down and demanded she tell me what’s going on. She sighed and finally made a confession that made me go pale: “It’s because of your mom’s friend who lives in the basement.”

She explained that when she was at my place that morning, **he had been watching her shower** through a **hidden camera** he installed. She was **terrified** and didn’t want to say anything, fearing he would **hurt her**. The realization hit me like a ton of bricks. I felt a surge of anger, disgust, and disbelief. How could someone do something so vile and intrusive?

Now, **my entire world is shattered**, and I don’t know what to do. My mom is calling me crazy when I told her he needs to leave NOW. She defends him, and I am now in an argument between them. I don’t know what to do. This situation is escalating quickly, and I’m at a loss for how to handle it. The betrayal, the violation, the conflict with my own mother – it’s all too much to bear.
